Google Chrome will soon cease to function on Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1. According to sources, the tech giant will release Chrome 110 on February 7, which will be available for devices running Windows 10 and above.
“To continue getting future Chrome versions, you must guarantee that your device is running Windows 10 or later,” Google wrote.

According to sources, Microsoft will discontinue security updates and technical support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 on January 10, 2022. Furthermore, WebView2 support will no longer be updated.
