Educational Qualifications B.E, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc. (Computer Science or IT) graduates from ECE, ETE, CSE, IT, EEE, ISE, or equivalent fields.
Academic Record GenC : Candidates should possess consistent academic record with 60% or greater in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG with no standing arrears in current education at the time of registration. Candidates need to have minimum 60% aggregate in the pursuing degree with no standing arrears at the time of joining. GenC Pro: Students should possess consistent academic record with 60% or greater in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (all subjects will be taken into consideration) calculated as below.Required Certification. GenC Next: Consistent academic record of a minimum of 70% in X, XII, Diploma, UG & PG (all subjects will be taken into consideration)
Backlogs No standing arrears
Academic Gap Not more than 2 years of gap in education.
Evaluation Criteria Applicants will be evaluated based on the latest results, including all subjects of that semester or year.
Nationality Candidates must be Indian nationals.
Accreditation Graduation must be from an accredited university.
Relocation and Flexibility Must be flexible to relocate, work across various technologies, domains, roles, and be open to working in shifts if required

Cognizant GenC Recruitment 2025 Exam Pattern:

Registration:

  • A specific link will be provided.
  • Candidates need to register using the required documents (Resume attached with latest passport size photograph, PAN Card).
  • Candidates need to choose their desired cluster for exam.

Screening: Resume shortlisting will be there.

Round 1:

Cognizant GenC Recruitment 2025 English Communication Assessment (45 mins):

  • Reading and Grammar

Round 2:

Aptitude + Technical Assessment :

Aptitude (80 mins):

  • Numerical Ability

Technical (120 mins): There will be 3 clusters-

  • Cluster 1 skills: Java, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. (85% questions will be on Java and ANSI SQL)
  • Cluster 2 skills: ANSI SQL, Python, Cloud fundamentals (60% question will be on ANSI SQL)
  • Cluster 3 Skills: C#, ANSI SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (85% questions on C# and ANSI SQL).
  • Coding: There will be 2 coding questions, with the coding language determined by the selected cluster.
    • Query: There will be 2 query questions where a table schema will be given, and candidates will need to write queries based on that schema.

Round 3:

            Technical + HR Interview:

  • Based on the performance in the assessment they will call you for interview for specific roles:

  • The Technical and HR interviews are conducted in a single session.
  • This round will be conducted in person, not virtually.
  • Duration: Varies based on the interviewer, typically between 30–60 minutes or more than that.
