About the Role

A leading global science and technology company is looking for a Senior Snowflake Developer / Architect to build and maintain scalable, high-performance data systems that support analytics, reporting, and AI-driven solutions.

If you’re experienced with data modeling, ETL, Snowflake, and Python — and want to work on high-impact projects in healthcare and life sciences — this is a great opportunity to step into a senior, solution-driven role.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust data pipelines and solutions using Snowflake.
  • Model data using OLTP, OLAP, and Data Vault 2.0 techniques.
  • Write optimized SQL queries for ETL and analytics workflows.
  • Use Python for automation and advanced data processing.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver scalable data platforms.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments.
  • Maintain data quality, documentation, and system performance.
  • Develop unit tests, data mocks, and validation frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing systems for better performance.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
  • At least 3+ years hands-on with Snowflake development.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and data modeling (OLTP/OLAP/Data Vault).
  • Solid experience with DBT, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools is an advantage.
  • You’re collaborative, analytical, and able to work independently or lead small teams.
