Mint has always been my favorite since i first tried it in 07. I was blown away. 2 years later, as a self proclaimed expert, i did the CLI install of Arch, later converting it to Black Arch. I have 6 DEs, 3 greeters, only the tools i need, and it has the speed of a sub atomic gamma particle. Mint is as stable as Debian, and i use it for my Physical Firewall/ Access point. it has a really old Netgear router on it. I just pull in the apartment’s WiFi signal, convert it to wired and push the internet to the rest of my machines via CAT 6 wiring. My network has NO collisions, No dropped packets, 67 MBPS and the old Dell 9020 with 24 Gigs of ram and a 256 and 128 SSD to kick it up a notch. Mint is my choice for security, speed and stability. I had 88 days one time, but the power went out, and i had to restart the clock.
